Players

If the player is not wearing correct PPE around radioactive sources or dust, they are able to become irradiated. There are two types of irradiation -- Contact and Inhaled irradiation. Both will occur from either touching a radioactive source or being in contact with radioactive dust. Radioactive particles on the player's body will cause radiation to be emitted from the player -- which will also be absorbed by the player.

Contact Irradiation

Contact Irradiation refers to radioactive particles that have landed on the player's skin and will remain there until they reach a decontamination shower. This is less dangerous than inhaled radiation as it is able to be somewhat easily removed.

Inhaled Irradiation

Inhaled Irradiation refers to radioactive particles that have been inhaled by the player and have become entrenched in their body's system. This cannot be removed via a decontamination shower, and currently has no way to cure it aside from an ACE full heal. This will change in later versions of the mod.
